Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to enhance speech and language skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current VA licensure
• Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their treatment approaches.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, parents, and educational staff.
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and schools.
